Literacy: Reading-Language Arts/Early and
Middle Childhood
It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education.
*Albert Einstein
It is my philosophy that all children can not only learn but thrive given the proper environment and tools. I believe that all children have the right to a quality education based on their needs and abilities.
Education should be fun and a lifelong process. My job as an educator is to facilitate that learning.
My goal is to create a classroom setting that is safe for exploration. I want children to find that everyday in the classroom is an exciting adventure!
Learning the "rules" should be secondary to engaging and expanding the experiences of childhood.
"Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it"
* Marian Wright Edelman
